The firm handles many areas of law including criminal defense, personal injury, medical malpractice, immigration, trusts and estates, family, OFAC, business transactional and whistleblower law.

Job Summary

Price Benowitz, LLP is seeking a full-time in-house recruiter to join their growing team at their Washington, DC headquarters. This position is essential to sustaining the growth of the firm and is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a place that has been continuously growing and expanding its practice areas. You will be recruiting for various levels of experience such as attorneys, paralegals, support staff, marketing associates, and accounting personnel.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop sourcing strategies
  • Manage heavy volume of inbound applicants
  • Draft and monitor job postings
  • Screen applicants
  • Schedule Interviews
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews
  • Maintain recruiting database and software
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends in the legal industry that have short and long-term implications on the business
  • Cultivate relationships and maintain close communication with candidates, colleagues, law school alumni groups, professional organizations, and external recruiters
  • Attend job fairs
  • Maintain candidate profiles and status of recruitment activity and report activity levels regularly to management
  • Assists with other essential functions of the firm

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior recruiting experience preferred. Legal recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Good organizational, time management, customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to pass a background check
