Position Overview
We are seeking a Criminal Defense Law Clerk (part-time) to join our criminal defense team in the Charleston, SC office. This is a great opportunity for a rising 2L or 3L law school student who is interested in criminal law. In this role, you will help assist with clerical duties, client support, and special projects.

Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Assist with drafting and preparing legal documents
- Provide general administrative and office support
- Assist with client and court-related communications and tasks
- Perform other duties as needed to support the attorney and practice
- Obtain police records and evidence
Qualifications and Skills
- Current law student
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Genuine interest in criminal defense and willingness to learn
- Availability to work approximately 5–10 hours per week in Charleston, South Carolina
