Job Summary
Price Benowitz, LLP is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant & Interpreter to provide superior customer service to the firm’s staff through resolving issues, filling orders, inspecting merchandise, and improving operational efficiency.

Legal Assistant & Interpreter will also be responsible for participating in client video and telephone consultations, and provide translation services and facilitate language communications for clients with limited English proficiency. 

The 
Legal Assistant & Interpreter will work closely in conjunction with the firm Operation Team (Ops) on issues pertaining to information technology, marketing, onboarding, and other important administrative tasks. The ideal candidate for this role will be a true problem solver, critical thinker, and team player. Must be able to work 9-6pm Eastern Time, but the position can be fully remote.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a point of contact in communications with vendors.
  • Troubleshoot basic information technology issues.
  • Prepare various reports.
  • Coordinate purchase of firm materials.
  • Ordering business cards.
  • Research and recommendations.
  • Updating letterheads.
  • Keeping track of property management stuff.
  • Assisting with the creation and management of organizational tools.
  • Interpreting client consultations over the phone or video in Spanish/English.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an operational position.
  • Must have Full fluency in both English and Spanish, and experience translating Spanish/English conversations.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrated decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Effectively demonstrate oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and to pitch in whenever necessary,
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidential records.
  • Experience working with Google Workspace like Sheets and Drive highly desirable, as well as Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.
Compensation & Hours:
  • $7-$8/hr.
  • The position offers the flexibility of being fully remote, the firm's regular business hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
