Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced salesperson to lead initial meetings with potential clients, guiding them on the legal services available at our firm. Ideal applicants will bring strong sales experience and skills, coupled with a willingness to learn and accept feedback. Prior experience in a law firm is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
  • Initial Client Contact: Respond promptly to inquiries from potential clients facing criminal charges via phone, email, and web forms.
  • Client Screening: Conduct preliminary screening of potential clients facing criminal charges to assess their legal needs and determine case viability.
  • Lead Conversion: Effectively communicate the benefits of our legal services to potential clients, answering questions and addressing concerns to convert inquiries into consultations.
  • Case Information Gathering: Collect and input detailed information from potential clients into the CRM system to assist attorneys in case evaluation.
  • Follow-Up: Manage follow-up communications to nurture leads, ensuring no potential client is left without proper attention.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate consultations between clients and attorneys, ensuring proper scheduling and intake procedures.
  • Sales Goals: Meet or exceed individual sales targets for lead conversions.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update client records in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and timely follow- up.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and administrative staff to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales position, ideally selling legal products and services are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred, JD degrees welcome but not required.
  • A proven track record using a collaborative sales approach.
  • Knowledge of the legal industry and criminal defense law will be considered a strong plus.
  • Experience with CRM, particularly reporting, is required.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
