Job Summary
Price Benowitz, LLP is looking to add a remote part-time Instructional Designer to join its growing Learning & Development (L&D) department. As a member of L&D, you will be a hands-on curriculum architect, responsible for developing, designing, and building engaging and effective e-learning courses. You will produce digital training experiences using Price Benowitz’s design standards and tools to meet our employees’ learning needs and firm’s goals. You will work on projects with oversight, guidance, and coaching from L&D and in collaboration with content experts across the firm. Your materials will simplify complex ideas and processes for learners with a range of experiences and subject-matter knowledge.

Job Summary
Price Benowitz, LLP is looking to add a remote part-time Instructional Designer to join its growing Learning & Development (L&D) department. As a member of L&D, you will be a hands-on curriculum architect, responsible for developing, designing, and building engaging and effective e-learning courses. You will produce digital training experiences using Price Benowitz’s design standards and tools to meet our employees’ learning needs and firm’s goals. You will work on projects with oversight, guidance, and coaching from L&D and in collaboration with content experts across the firm. Your materials will simplify complex ideas and processes for learners with a range of experiences and subject-matter knowledge.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop, create, and publish self-paced e-learning courses and materials to the firm’s online library, informing a cohesive and relevant curriculum.
- Design exercises, instructional activities, and training assessments to check for learners’ understanding aligned to course objectives.
- Build digital learning content using authoring, video, and graphic editing/publishing tools.
- Produce training support materials (e.g., job aids, handouts) for employee onboarding and career development opportunities.
- Audit, evaluate, and update existing instructional content and learning objectives, incorporating stakeholder and learner feedback.
- Support course assignments, permissions, and configuration settings.
- Contribute to L&D department success by continuously improving learning processes and adhering to design and quality standards.
- Fluency in English is required (C1 or C2 Level).
- 2+ years experience in learning and development, instructional design, education, information technology or a related field.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and models and adult learning theories and best practices.
- Proficiency in course development software and multimedia editing software (i.e., Canva, AI authoring tools for voice,video, and image generators).
- Familiarity with LMS platforms.
- Experience communicating and collaborating in a remote/virtual work setting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- $7-$8/hr. commensurate with experience.
- 25-30 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase to full time
- The position offers the flexibility of being fully remote, the firm's regular business hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
