Our personal injury team is dedicated to advocating for individuals harmed due to negligence. We are seeking a Claims Verification Specialist to bring valuable insurance industry knowledge and case analysis skills to support our attorneys and case managers.
Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Claims Verification Specialist with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience working in the insurance industry, preferably in claims handling, evaluation, or support. The successful candidate will assist with reviewing case files, verifying documentation, analyzing liability, and identifying gaps to strengthen claims. A strong background in bodily injury claims and insurance procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verify personal injury case files, including medical records, accident reports, and damages documentation.
Confirm liability and coverage details based on insurance standards and policy language.
Provide analysis and recommendations to attorneys and case staff regarding case strengths and potential issues.
Track communications with insurance carriers and document responses for internal use.
Identify missing or incomplete information and assist in gathering necessary documentation.
Stay up to date on trends in claims verification and insurance practices.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in personal injury claims handling, verification, or support (insurance company experience strongly preferred).
Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting bodily injury claims, medical records, and liability documentation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with auto, premises liability, and other common PI claim types.
Familiarity with claims or case management systems is a plus.

Additional Information
Work Environment: This is a hybrid role, with full-time hours based in our Washington, D.C. office (4 days in-office, 1 day remote, Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm).
