Our Technology & Data team plays a critical role in developing innovative solutions that automate business processes across the firm. We are seeking an Automation Developer to join our growing team and help build scalable, reliable automations that improve operations across multiple departments.
Position Overview
The Automation Developer will design, develop, maintain, and optimize workflow automations that connect the firm’s various business systems and eliminate manual processes. Working closely with the Technology & Data team and stakeholders across the firm, you will build integrations that improve efficiency, accuracy, and data consistency.
This is an individual contributor role ideal for someone with strong automation and integration experience who enjoys solving business problems through technology.
Initially, this position will focus heavily on accounting-related automations involving QuickBooks Online and the movement of financial data between accounting and other internal systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain workflow automations across multiple business applications.
- Develop integrations using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Create and maintain automations supporting accounting, finance, recruiting, operations, legal, and marketing teams.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and implement long-term solutions.
- Optimize existing workflows for reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Document automation architecture, processes, and technical specifications.
- Monitor automation performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
- Work closely with the Technology & Data team to ensure consistency across automation initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of experience developing workflow automations or systems integrations.
- Experience working with APIs (REST preferred).
- Experience building integrations between multiple SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting production automation issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software.
- Experience working with financial data integrations.
- Experience using automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, n8n, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar tools.
- Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with cloud-based business applications and APIs.
- Previous experience supporting business operations or legal services organizations.
Compensation & Hours
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Compensation: $11-$15 per hour, rate will be determined by Price Benowitz, LLP based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
